This sub-project of steel scaffold on the external wall will be commissioned by party A to party B for execution. Parties hereto, in accordance with LAW OF CONTRACT, LAW OF CONSTRUCTION and other laws, administrative regulations, abide with the principles of equality, voluntariness, fairness and honesty, agree unanimously on the project of steel scaffold on the external wall and conclude this contract for performance and implementation by parties hereto.

三、施工日期 Works Period
Commencement Date is the day on which party B is informed with party A’s written notice of commencing works.
Completion Date is the day on which party B is informed with party A’s written notice of dismantling all scaffold.
Use Period limited: Works period during which party A use the steel pipe scaffolding which being fixed by party B will be months on and from the date of receipt of party A’s written notice for commencement of fixing scaffold to the date of dismantling all scaffold under party A’s written notice.
Project period is calculated from the day of commencement to the day of completion.
① 如果因为乙方原因，工期达不到要求，乙方应向甲方支付违约金，每延误一天，违约金为 元整;
Provided that if works period fail to satisfy and meet the requirement of contract due to party B’s reason, party B should be punished to pay liquidated damages to party A , the payment of damages is Yuan for each delayed day.
Party B should, upon receipt of party A’s notice of dismantlement, within the agreed time, complete the dismantlement of scaffold, otherwise, shall be deemed as works delay.
Party B should well-organize execution of steel scaffold on the external wall so as to reach the qualifying grade.
The steel tube which is provided by party B should be the products made by the qualified manufacture and at the time entering the site party B should issue the product certification therewith to party A.
The works of steel scaffold on external wall undertaken by party B should at any time accept the inspection and supervision of party A, the engineer. Respecting to any non-qualified part of works, party B should by the requirement of party A and the engineer rework, modify or re-set up and bear the corresponding cost thereof.
Quality should conform with the stipulations of PIPE SCAFFOLD FASTENER issued by Ministry of Construction ( State’s standard GB15831-2006).
五、工程款的价格与支付 Price and Payment
一、单价 Unit Price
The base price of Yuan per square meter for steel scaffold on external wall
The base price of Yuan× total months ( temporary as five months)
Yuan for each time of fixing or dismantling of tower crane and flat for material discharge.
Yuan for each extend meter of fixing or dismantling of railing and guard fence on the entrance / exit of stairs, elevator and other on each floor.
二、工程价款的支付与结算：Settlement and Payment
Payment of progress including extension for the steel scaffold shall be effected to party B in cash on a monthly.
② 每月工程量由乙方在下月5日前申报，甲方在当月15日前，按乙方上个月完成工作量的85% 工程进度款。
The declaration of quantity each month will be made by party B prior to 5th following month and party A will, prior to 15th the month on the basis of party B’s completed quantity in last month effect 85% of progress payment to party B.
③ 当甲方通知乙方拆除外墙脚手架之日甲方应再支付总价的 15% 工程进度款。
Party A will effect another 15% of progress payment to party B at the time on which party A give notice of dismantlement to party B.
All remain payment will be effected at once at the time on which work of dismantlement being made to last layer.
2、工程量的计算与工程款的结算：Work Quantity and Payment Settlement
A工程量的计算：Calculation of Work Quantity
Steel scaffold on external wall: Total fixing area = ( external wall perimeter + balcony + bay window + air conditioning board + extending sides of contact beam adding 4 corners for which, each corner as 4 meters ) × total height of the actual installation ( to the highest layer of protective railing top), and calculation of total area and the unloading platform.
Respecting double shelve, the double cost will be counted; where single shelve, the 1.5 times area will be counted.
Quantity of tower crane, unloading platform, protective shed, operating shed and suspended net:

Extending meters of channel steel suspension will be calculated on the extending perimeter of wall on which channel steel suspension being fixed.
All works cost of wall steel pipe scaffolding, unloading platform, protective shed, operating shed, fence of elevator entrance, channel steel suspension and suspended net should be paid off, otherwise party B is entitle to refuse to dismantle, the extension of work time thereto shall be calculated into the period limited during which party A use party B’s steel scaffolding.
六、各方安全责任：Safety Responsibilities of Each Party
Party B should during construction assume full responsibilities for execution safety. Party B should ensure work’s safety, where and if any accident concerned safety, any and all liabilities of economy and legal thereto shall be undertaken by party B.
Fixing of scaffolding will upon completion by party B, be accepted by party A. The safety responsibility during using for construction by party A shall be undertaken by party A itself which can not remove the reinforced joint without party B’s consent, otherwise, any and all liabilities of economy and legal thereto shall be undertaken by party A.
Party B should not be allowed to subcontract at its own initiative all project which is contracted by itself, neither make dismemberment of project which is contracted by party B into several parts which are subcontracted to other party respectively, otherwise party A is entitle to unilaterally terminate contract.
八、双方一般权利和义务 General Rights and Liabilities
（一）甲方义务：Party A’s Liabilities
Responsible for the inspection and supervision of quality on site and put forward the opinions of rectification and correction for quality defective due to party B in addition to security risks and requirement of rectification and correction by party B.
Responsible for coordinating the cooperation between party B and other working companies so as to ensure party B’s normal construction.
Provide party B with embedded reinforcing steel which being used for the linkage outside scaffold on wall and for suspension.
Responsible for concrete pouring of foundation ground on which scaffold will fix and ensure its quality qualifying and meet the requirements.
Party A should not, at the time of using scaffold during working, destroy at will the wall joint and reinforced facilities. The load on scaffold shall not be exceed over 200kg/m2 and material pile up and down scaffold shall not exceed over 50 kg/m2, otherwise any security accident including destruction of wall joint, peak fall and shelve instability shall be liability on party A.
Effect the payment of progress cost in time and provide party B in free with the site conditions and the vertical transport equipment.
（二）乙方义务：Party B’s Liabilities
Fulfillment of party A’s notice and supervision direction in addition to the liabilities and obligations under decrees of the competent authorities and implementation of particular responsibilities upon requirements.
Party B should make strictly standard management of execution technology, project quality, safety production and orderly construction, as well as making normative implementation of project.
This contract will come into force and effect upon signature hereof, which any party can not breach, otherwise the breach party should compensate the opposite party’s economic loss and undertake legal liability arising or resulting therefrom.
Provided that if any dispute occurred during implementation of contract, parties hereto may take conciliation or apply to the competent authority for mediation thereon, if, any party reluctant to or failure of conciliation and mediation, may issue the application of arbitration to the arbitration authority which on the place of signature.
Should either of the parties to the contract be prevented from executing the contract by force majeure, such as earthquake, typhoon, flood, fire and war and other unforeseen events and their happening and consequences are unpreventable and unavoidable, the prevented party shall , by cable, notify the other party without any delay, and shall , within 15 days thereafter, provide the detailed information of the events and a valid document for evidence issued by the relevant public notary organization for explaining the reason of its inability to execute or delay the execution of all or part of the contract. The parties to the contract shall, through consultations, in accordance with the effects of the events on the performance of the contract, decide whether to terminate the contract or to exempt the part of obligations for implementation of the contract or whether to delay the execution of the contract.
Parties hereto make supplement agreement to cover the outstanding issues by mutual negotiation of parties, and have the equal force with this contract.
This contract will come into effect and force upon the signature of parties and cease effect and force upon closing full payment of project cost.

Bi-row landing steel-pipe scaffold落地式双排钢管脚手架
Based on the architectural figure and structural form of this engineering, in the course of construction, Bi-row landing steel-pipe scaffold shall used in the project, and such scaffold scheme will be executed as follows:
Stage of basement 基础阶段：
All-closed, landing, steel-pipe and bi-row scaffold shall be put up along the periphery of the basement. If necessary, internal scaffold will be built.
Stage of base building主体阶段：
External scaffold: All-closed, landing, steel-pipe and bi-row scaffold shall be put up in the project.
Internal scaffold: The internal scaffold will be built if necessary. In the course of wall construction, bi-row landing steel-pipe scaffold will be built along the two sides of the wall.
Stage of decoration 装修阶段：
External scaffold: the scaffold used in main body .外脚手架：利用主体结构脚手架。
Internal scaffold will be put up if necessary.内脚手架：内脚手根据需要搭设。
Foundation: The vertical member foundation is the part that suffers the whole pressure of the scaffold. For the purpose of consolidating the vertical member foundation, the backfill soil shall be tamped layer by layer. The lower layer is 10cm thick with gravels, and the surface layer is 10cm thick with C20 concrete. 1.7 m spacing is left for the layer to the wall. Drains are built with bricks around, width as 25cm, depth as 10cm (at the starting point), gradient as 1%. Under the vertical member, 50mm thick board will be placed in a steady way.
Any arbitrary excavation is not permissible under or around the scaffold. If necessary, consolidating measures shall be taken and the written approval from the related governmental agents shall be ready.
Steel pipes: The jointing steel pipes with specification of 48Φ diameter, wall,3.5mm thick, shall be taken for putting up the scaffold. The quality shall be in accordance with the class Q235-A steel in Carbon Constructional Steel (GB/T700). As for the steel pipe, any of severe rusting, bending, staving, cracking is not permissible. The new steel pipes shall be enclosed with the quality warranty of the manufacturer, which are mainly used as vertical member, putlog, ledger and diagonal.
Scaffold: Bamboo board is taken as the components. The width of each bamboo sheet shall not be less than 30mm. The horizontal linkers are knitted in a form of face-back-face. Iron thread shall be taken for fastening the bamboo board at the edges and the interfaces of linkers.
Fastener：The fasteners used for turning, right-angle and opposite-joining shall be standard fasteners. The fasteners shall be made of malleable cast iron, in accordance with Steel Pipe Scaffold Fasteners (GB15831). The new fasteners shall be enclosed with the quality warranty of the manufacturer. Any of cracking, deforming and slippery thread is not permissible in use. The surface of the fasteners shall be rust-proof. The active part of the fasteners shall reach the requirement of turning. At the time that the fastener is fastening the steel pipe, the min. distance at the opening shall not be less than 5mm.
Safety meshwork: The safety meshwork shall be meshed net, and approved by the labor bureau.
Skirting board: Skirting board shall take composite multi-layer board, 10mm thick, 20cm long.
As for the vertical member, horizontal distance is 1.05m, the vertical distance, 1.5m, step distance, 1.8m, distance between pipes and wall, 0.40m, total height, 36.4m. As for the scaffold outside, starting from the second step, 2 steel-pipe protection railing shall be put up in the inside of external vertical member in each floor. Total-long and total-high X-brace shall be put up. The X-brace shall link 3 or 4 vertical members, and the angle formed by diagonal and ground is ranging 45~60°. The X-brace shall be put up continuously along the step height. Big tilting support shall be put up between the bordering X-braces. Besides the circumvolving fastener to fasten the ends of diagonal and the vertical member, 2~4 fasteners shall be added at the middle parts.

Setting of the fasteners to wall: Fastening to wall is for the purpose of resisting the eccentricity impact of wind load and vertical load, and reducing the slenderness ratio of vertical member. Fastening to wall is also the important measure for preventing the deformation of scaffold. The vertical spacing shall not exceed 3.6m, and the horizontal spacing shall not exceed 4.5m and arrayed as club form.
Short-foot steel pipes are taken to fasten the each span and the frame column, and it shall be set at the first-step big railing. When the concrete beam reaches the design strength, the short-foot steel pipe could be replaced by expansion bolt. The fixture shall be fixed to the ring beam with 40*4 corner iron. The short steel pipe shall be taken to fasten the scaffold to the corner iron.
The horizontal diagonal shall be set in the panel of step frame with bar to wall, for the purpose of improving the horizontal strength of scaffold.
Bamboo board is taken as alleyway on each floor of the scaffold. Skirting board shall be set at the outside of the operation floors (consisting of 3 stories), which are painted in three colors: black, yellow and differentiating color. 18mm composite board shall be taken for closure in the inside.
Meshed net is added to the outside of scaffold for protection. Two steel pipes are fixed as railing at the outside.
Do well with the lightning earth connection as per the specification and recheck it before the rainy season arrived to ensure its perfection. The scaffolding is installed with lightning conductor, and the buildings use the structural steels as lightning conductor. Check seriously and do well the earth connection system.
In the course of fixing the vertical member, the length of the bar units shall be appropriately matched. Except that the butt lap could be used in the top, all the other tie-in shall take butt joint.
The lap length shall not be less than 1m, and at least two rolling fasteners shall be used for fastening. The distance between the external edge of the fastener and bar end shall not be less than 100mm.
The tie-in for two adjacent vertical members shall not be set in the same step. The distance between the tie-in of vertical member and adjacent ledger shall not be more than 1/3 of the step height. The tie-in of two adjacent vertical member shall be staggered, and it’s not permissible to be set in the same step height and spacing. The height difference of two adjacent tie-in shall exceed 500mm.
The top of the vertical member shall be 1.5m higher than the cornice.立杆顶端应高出檐口1.5m。
The length of ledger shall not be less than any of 3 strides and 6m. Due to the constraint of the ledger on the pulling bar, the ledger must be fastened to the vertical member with right-angle fastener, and any skip is not permissible. The ledger shall be fixed at the inside of the vertical member.
The tie-in of the two ledgers at the same level, and the tie-in of the two vertical-adjacent ledgers shall be staggered, and it’s not permissible to set them in the same stride or the same step. The horizontal distance of the adjacent tie-ins shall exceed 500mm. The distance between the center of each tie-in and the first adjacent main node shall not be more than 1/3 of the total distance. The lap length shall not be less than 1m. Three rolling fasteners with equal spacing shall be used for fastening. The distance between the external edge of the fastener and the bar end shall be less than 100mm.
The bamboo scaffold board is taken in this engineering. The ledger shall be fastened to the putlog with right-angle fastener, and 4 ledgers will be fixed with the equal spacing. The spacing shall not exceed 35cm.
The base lift must be fixed vertically and horizontally. The vertical base lift shall be fastened to the vertical member at the position of 20cm to the top surface of the pad board, with the right-angle fastener. The horizontal base lift shall be fastened to the vertical member adjacent to the ledger bottom, with the right-angle fastener.
The putlog shall be fixed adjacent to the vertical member. The spacing in a stride is just 1/2 of vertical spacing. The putlog shall be fastened with right-angle fastener. The putlog adjacent to the vertical member shall not be removed in any situation.
X-brace and diagonal剪刀撑、斜杆：
The X-brace shall be fixed as the span of the external scaffold. The X-brace will support 3 or 4 vertical members. The angle formed by the diagonal of the scissor-truss support and the ground is preferably ranging 45°～60°. The installation of diagonal will follow the procedure: one diagonal is fastened to the vertical member, and the other diagonal is fastened to the projecting part of the putlog, for the purpose of preventing the steel pipe from bending when these two diagonal cross. The distance between the tie-in between the diagonal and the scaffold , and the scaffold node, shall not be more than 200mm. Besides the ends fastening, 2~4 fasteners shall be added between the two ends. The distance between the bottom joint of the diagonal and the ground shall not be more than 500mm, for the purpose of making sure the stability of the scaffold.
外脚手架沿全长设置剪刀撑，剪刀撑联系3 - 4根立杆，剪刀撑的斜杆与地面夹角宜在45°～60°范围内。斜杆的搭设是将一根斜杆扣在立杆上，另一根斜杆扣在小横杆的伸出部分上，这样可以避免两根斜杆相交时把钢管别弯。斜杆用扣件与脚手架扣紧的连接头两端距脚手架节点不大于200mm，除两端扣紧外，中间尚需增加2～4个扣结点。斜杆的最下面一个连接点距地面不宜大于500mm，以保证脚手架的稳定性。

As for each frame column, it shall be fastened with the short scaffold steel-pipes every other step, and this fixture starts at the-first-step ledger. The short scaffold steel-pipes shall be replaced by expansion bolt after the ring beam concrete reaches the design strength. The fixture will be fastened to the ring beam with 40*4 corner iron. The short steel pipes shall be taken for fastening the scaffold to the corner iron.
Four ascending ladders shall be fixed as the specific site required. One run is fixed for one step, and the meshed net is fixed at the outside of the ladder as guard mesh. The width is 1.0m and the gradient is 1:2. FourФ48 steel pipes are taken for fastening the ladder to the vertical member. The putlog is fixed under the 4 steel pipes. Bamboo scaffold is taken as surface layer for the ladder, and battens are nailed as non-slip strips.
Meshed net is taken as enclosure at the outside of the scaffold. At the inside, 18mm composite board is taken for closure.
The lightning protection system is made of Φ12 galvanized reinforcement, the height of which is not less than 1m. The lightning rod shall be fixed on the vertical member at the scaffold corners. The ledgers on the top are linked together to form a lightning net.
The lightning protection devices are fixed around the scaffold. A steel pipe, 1.5m long, 3.5mm thick, will be taken as the earth, and put into the ground. The top of the earth is 50cm to the ground. 6 mm2 double-color copper conductor will be taken as earth line, and welded with the earth, and fastened to the scaffold with two bolts.
The scaffold shall take the form of closure. In the case that it shall be disconnected, more fastening pulling bars shall be added at this part. The vertical leveling bars in the same step must be in closure. In the case that the foundations of the vertical member are not at the same level, the ledger at the higher place shall be lengthened with 2 strides, and fixed on the bottom vertical member.
Erection of scaffold shall be in accordance with the operation schedule. The height for each erection shall be higher than the operation layer, but it’s preferable not to higher than the one-step frame.
The operation layers of the scaffold consist of 3 layers. Scaffold board shall be paved on the ledger. The 18# galvanized iron thread is taken for fastening the scaffold board corners to the ledger. The scaffold board shall be paved along the long strip, and lapped one by one.
The 20cm mopboard shall be paved on the three layers of scaffold operation layers.
The vertical member of scaffold shall be upright and the ledger and putlog shall be even.
Each fastener shall be fixed firm.各种连接扣件必须扣接牢固。
The tie-ins of adjacent columns shall be staggered.相邻两柱的接头要错开。
Erection procedure of fastening external scaffold is as follows:
Preparation for erection—— flipping the line based on the building panel figure—— paving pad board——fixing the vertical base lift——lifting the vertical member one by one, and fastening it to the vertical base lift——fixing horizontal base lift, and fastening it to the vertical member or vertical base lift——fixing the-first-step ledger, fastening it to the vertical members ——fixing the-first-step putlog—— fixing the-second-step ledger——fixing the-second-step putlog——fixing the temporary casting support and its top shall be fastened to the-second-step ledger, and it could be removed after the two bars to wall are fixed—— fixing the-third-step and the-fourth-step ledger and putlog——fixing the bars to wall——fixing the vertical member——fixing the X-brace——paving scaffold board—— fixing the guard rail and mopboard——suspending the safety netting and meshed net ——……
The removal procedure is opposite to the erection procedure. The one of early erection shall be removed late, and the one of late erection shall be removed early. The removal work starts with the top of the steel-pipe scaffold. The removal procedure is as follows:
Meshed net, safety netting——guard rail——mopboard——scaffold board——putlog—— ledger——vertical member——fastening bar to wall——vertical support——……
The fixture parts shall be removed along with the scaffold. In the course of removing the last vertical member, prior to the removal work, a temporary support shall be built. Removal of the scaffold shall be cleared story by story. In the course of staggered removal, the height difference shall not be more than 2 steps. In the course of removing scissor-truss support, prior to the ends fasteners, the middle fasteners shall be removed. In the course of removing the scaffold, a person finishing the work since the start will be preferable. In the case of any person substitution, the hand-over work shall be well done. The parts removed from the scaffold shall be carried to the ground in a reasonable time. Any action, such as throwing the parts, shall be forbidden.
The foundation of the scaffold shall be leveled and compacted (up to the designed bearing capacity), and designed with drainage measures. The bottom of the steel tube shall be set with a double-tube base at lest 8mm thick, and a full-length padding plate at least 2 span long and 500mm thick. A sweeping lever is set at the place 30cm from both the internal and external poles.
Floor-type double pole scaffolds shall be erected up outside of the internal pole 300mm from the structural outer wall. The pole shall be single at the upper and double at the lower (single pole of 30 mm high, under which is dual poles. The longitudinal distance of the poles is 1,500mm and the transverse distance is 1,200 mm. And the pace between large crossbars is 1,800mm (A protective raining is erected at the middle of the pace). In addition, the cross bridging shall be set at the outer elevation of the pole from the top to the bottom. Basic structural levers including struts and scaffolds shall be reliably connected. The transverse crossbar shall be set at the corner and every 6 spans. All external scaffolds shall be laced with the outer wall. The horizontal distance between connected anchors in wall is the floor height (partial adjustment shall be conducted to make the distance less than the floor height when the connected anchors in wall is over 300 m from the host node. And each layer shall be laced within 4.5m longitudinally.
Inspection and acceptance of the scaffold脚手架检查、验收
It’s not permissible to use the scaffold until receiving checking and acceptance of the item department.
In the course of using, staggered inspection shall be taken for the scaffold and foundation in accordance with the norms, and such inspection shall be taken regularly as required in the norms.
Safety management of scaffold脚手架安全管理：
Personnel requirements 人员要求：
The worker for putting up the scaffold frame shall be professional shelf worker, who must obtain the certificate of special work from the labor bureau. The shelf worker shall receive medical examinations regularly. In case of having any disease that requires the patient from working at high place, the worker shall not engage in the forbidden work. In the course of working, the shelf worker must wear safety hat, safety belt and slip-resistant shoes.
In the course of using, the working load shall be in a strict control. Any over-load action is not permissible. Any heavy staff shall not be stacked or suspended on the scaffold. The cable wind rope and feeding tube of the pump shall not be fixed on the scaffold.
In the case of weather of force 6 or above wind, rain or fog, the erection or removal of scaffold shall be paused.
In the course of operation, the poles shall not be removed as follows:
The vertical and horizontal transom at the critical nodes, the vertical and horizontal base lift, supports, railings and mopboard.
In the course of electric welding and gas welding on the scaffold, fireproofing measures shall be taken and a person shall be assigned just for this work.
The earth connection and lightning work for the scaffold shall be taken in accordance with the specifications. The earth connection work shall conform to the regulations of “Technical Specification For Temporary Electrical Safety On Site-work”.
In the course of erection or removing the scaffold, rail fences and warning signs shall be fixed on the ground and a person shall be assigned just for this guard work. Non-operative workers shall not step in the forbidden area.
The inspection, checking and supervision shall be enhanced. At the erection phase, inspection and supervision shall be enhanced and the safety netting shall be built or removed in a reasonable time. In the case of any problem, the solution shall be offered and executed. In the use phase, the safety inspection and maintenance shall be taken.

During the heavy storm, pay key attention to do well the safety checking works, such as the loose connection and slippage, etc., of scaffolding.
The exterior scaffolding foundation shall be observed at any moment, if any sinking or distortion, shall be treated at once.
The scaffoldings shall be paved with antiskid materials, all the bottoms of floor scaffoldings are set with sweeping rod, the temporary scaffoldings shall be fully paved with gangboards, and the driftways shall be nailed well with antiskid strip. The scaffoldings shall be rechecked after the driving rain, and may only be used again after no change ensured.
Management Measures on Scaffold Safety脚手架安全管理措施
Special safety construction plan and safety technology clarification shall be prepared for scaffold.
Personnel protection equipment shall be applied correctly and working dress shall be loose and handy. Safety belt shall be fastened and fixed to set column and cross rod and anti-slippery shoes shall be worn for altitude operation.
In bad weather like strong wind over 6 grade, high temperature, downfall, heavy snow and fog, altitude operation shall be stopped. Inspection shall be taken after wind goes by or rain or snow stops to repair any inclination, loosening or collapsing found. It could be only used after everything is inspected acceptable.
The scaffold shall be set up according to construction progress. Those scaffolds that are completed shall be free of unstuck structure or potential unsafe danger after the operation is finished to ensure the scaffold stable.
It is suggested to switch power off while setting up scaffolds near power equipments.
Provisions on Acceptance of Scaffold Erection Quality脚手架搭设质量的检查验收规定
Structure shall comply with above stated regulations and design requirements and dimension of specific part shall be subject to adjustment within specific range.
Nodes shall be reliable continuously. Fastener shall be tightened with torque of 40-60N.m.
Verticality of steel scaffold column shall be≤1/300 and maximum verticality deviation shall be controlled within specific scope: less than 50mm when the scaffold is≤20m high and less than 75mm when the scaffold is >20m.
Horizontal deviation of lengthwise cross rod shall be within≤1/250 and horizontal deviation on overall length of the scaffold shall be less than 50mm.
Decking and safety protection measures at operation floor shall meet above mentioned requirements.
Technical measures on special parts shall comply with requirements of drawings.
Acceptance and routine inspection of the scaffold shall be conducted when:
Obvious deformation, settlement, removed rods and tension and potential safety danger are found in the course of application. The scaffold could be used or in continuous application after it is inspected acceptable.

Standard value for construction load (personnel, materials, machines and tools) applied on 1m2 scaffold of each operation and for structure construction period is 3KN/m2.
Standard brick piled on the scaffold shall be no more than 3 layers of vertical weights in single row; total weight of mortar and vessel shall be less than 1.5KN; Unit weight for construction equipment shall be less than 1KN and dead weight of structure handled and installed with manual efforts shall be less than 2.5KN.
Materials on the scaffold shall be tidy and stable to avoid any influences on operation for workers. Scaffold erection as per requirements of trolley travel shall allow for the lane unblocked. Personnel working the scaffold are prohibited to run or walk back on the scaffold or push the trolley from back.
The maximum operation height shall be limited to normal operation height and any pad or single stage board is prohibited to be used to increase operation height.
Basic component rod, integral rod, connecting fasteners and side wall parts of scaffold are prohibited to be removed at random during operation.
Operator on the scaffold shall pay much attention to protect safety of others and himself to avoid any knocking, accident or falling down. No playing or rest is allowed on unsafe place like scaffold and rail.
Operator shall go up and down the scaffold via safety protection passage (stair) and no climbing is allowed.
Personnel going to work on the scaffold shall inspect if there’s any safety problems that may influence safe operation and begin their operation after problems are relieved and solved. Operation shall be stopped immediately in the case of any unsafe hints found and restored after concerns are relieved.
After work is completed on the scaffold at the phrase, remaining materials shall be moved to scaffold for next phrase or indoor and scaffold face shall be cleaned before calling it a day. Throwing materials or dumping rubbish from scaffold is prohibited in any case.
Safety precautions during removal of scaffold脚手架拆除安全注意事项
Before removing scaffold, conduct full check of fasteners connectors, fasteners to wall and supporting system of scaffold for compliance with safety requirements, and remove sundries on the scaffold and obstacles on the ground.
The scaffold shall be removed from top to the bottom, simultaneous operation prohibited.
All fasteners to wall shall be removed with the scaffold layer by layer. We prohibit removing whole layer or several layers of fasteners before removing the scaffold. The differential height for each stage of removal shall not be more than 2 steps. In the case of step-by-step removal the differential height shall be more than 2 steps, in which case the fasteners to wall shall be added for reinforcement.
If the scaffold is removed step by step and elevation by elevation, the two ends of the scaffold not for removal shall be set with fasteners to wall and reinforced laterally according to the erection requirements of open-type scaffold.
The lever used to loosen the fastener shall be taken down at any time and shall not be loosely hung on the scaffold.
There shall be two persons for removing long levers, for the purpose of avoiding accidents possibly occurring in the case of operation by one person.
The structural fittings shall be timely carried to the ground, not being thrown at will.
The structural fittings carried to the ground shall be timely subjected to check, refit and maintenance, and be well piled according to type, specification and time code, subjecting to measures of antirust. Structures not to be used for a long time on the site shall be timely withdrawn from the site.
In the case of three-dimensional overlapping work for different trades, it shall not be done at the same vertical direction. The operation at the lower layer shall be done out of the possible fallout radius range as ascertained according to the height of the upper layer. If this requirement cannot be met, the forced isolating safety protective layer shall be designed.
When removing the formwork and scaffold, there shall be no other persons operating under them, and special personnel shall be designated to have a watch.
After the formwork is removed, the place for temporary piling shall be no less than 1.0m from the edge of the floor, with the piling height not higher than 1.0 m. The detached articles shall not be piled up at the edge of the floor, at the entrance of the passage or at the edge of the scaffold.
Protection of the Working Surface, Sides of Beams and Passage作业面、梁两侧、通道的防护
The working surface shall be protected with two rows of 1.2m high protective railings. The inside of the outer pole shall be hung with fine mesh safety vertical net , while the working safe shall be set with scaffold boards which shall be fixed tightly with small crossbars. In addition, 180mm high or higher toe boards shall be set, under which is hung with horizontal net.

The operating layer shall not be piled with materials centrally. The formwork and other heavy articles shall not be placed on the external scaffold. The beam shall be protected with railings of 50cm wide and 120 high at both sides for the purpose of avoiding workers falling down.
The fine mesh safety vertical net shall be hung inside the external pole of the external scaffold, and the operating layer shall be fully laid with scaffold board. And 180mm high or higher toe board shall be set. In addition, the horizontal safety net shall be set on the operating layer and its lower part.
The protective railing of the construction working surface shall not be lower than 1.2m.
When removing the scaffold, the safe area shall be plotted out and the alerting mark shall be set together with alerting specially observed by personnel. Before removal, special personnel shall be designated to check if the materials and sundries on the scaffold are removed completely. Otherwise, the scaffold shall not be removed. Removing of scaffolds shall follow specified procedures. The removed materials shall be bundled firmly or placed in containers before being carried down. It is strictly prohibited to throw them down from the space.
